Outdoor Style

Hello Friends!

With Memorial Day weekend in full swing it’s unofficially summer time. Officially summer won’t start until June 21st, and I can’t wait!! I love the heat, I don’t care if it’s 100 degrees. I’ll take summer over winter any day of the week!! Of course some of you are lucky/smart enough to live where it’s warm all year. I would love to move farther south, but my ghostly skin cannot afford to be any closer to equator. Seriously. So while is it warm and lovely here in the northeast, I am dreaming about outdoor furniture. The kind that’s made for lounging.

First up is a board deigned for the single ladies! What more does a single gal want than an afternoon, or evening, hanging out with her best girlfriend? I’m sure you’ll have to do rock-paper-scissors to decide who gets the swing though. I am madly in love with the idea of a swing chair. If I had one, and my bestie wanted to sit there, we’d have wrestle…to the ground, no mercy! Just kidding/not kidding.

I deigned the next board for those of you who are short on outdoor space. Perhaps you live in an apartment with a small balcony, or in a house with a tiny back patio. Either way, being short on space does not mean that you have to sacrifice style. Here’s a chic little set up that’s perfect for those with tight outdoor spaces.

There are others of you who have room to spread out, the next board was designed for you. If you have ample space in your backyard, why not add a sofa to the mix?! Its the perfect solution for entertaining, spending family time with the kids, or those lovely moments alone when you can stretch out your legs and read a book for 6 minutes. Let’s face it, if your kids are young, 6 minutes of alone time is a lofty goal, but I’ll cross my fingers for you!
