Outdoor Pillow Covers: Beautiful & Practical

Outdoor pillows have come a looooong way in the last 8 years, or so. There used to be like 5 choices and 3 of them were striped. Don’t get me wrong, I love stripes, but come on! Luckily ‘team outdoor pillow’ has upped their game. These days you can find almost any pattern and color you want in an outdoor friendly fabric. In fact, many of my favorite fabric retailers (like Schumacher) have outdoor options…the same magical prints but made with polyester, as opposed to linen and cotton. Not having to compromise style for practicality is always a win in my book!

Even if you don’t have outdoor furniture, outdoor fabric can still be the perfect choice for your living room, especially if it gets a lot of sun. Most pillows will fade overtime, when they are regularly exposed to sunlight. So if you love open shades in the daytime then you should start loving outdoor fabrics! They are also stain resistant, and water and oil repellent, making them a great choice for homes with kids, pets, or messy husbands/wives/grandmas.
