Fresh flowers will always be my preference, because I love to arrange them, but even I have my limits. I honestly can't be shopping for new flowers every week for all the flower loving spots in my home. Plus, I have a cat; one whose life revolves around plotting how to gain access to free water. As far as plants go, forget about it! I’ve killed too many to count. Faux plants are a must in my house.

So if you’re nodding your head right now because:

-you’re a serial plant murderer.

-you’re too busy for constant flower shopping.

-you’re quarantining and unable to get to Trader Joe’s (or any other grocery store/flower shop).

-you don’t like spending money on finicky things that die.

-your cat is obsessed with water and tries to knock over all the vases…

you’re in luck! I’ve rounded up some really good fauxs for your online shopping pleasure!

First up are individual stems. These are great, if you’re on a budget and not able to spend big bucks on a faux arrangement. 99% of the fauxs in my home are stems, and most are from AFloral. They’ve got an amazing selection of florals, and vases too!

Pro tip: bending and opening the stems creates a more realistic effect.

If you want to take a real shortcut get yourself a pre-made arrangement. Done and done. They are quite pricey, but they’ll pay for themselves fairly quickly if you’re replacing fresh flowers every week.

As you can tell, I prefer arrangements with one flower type. For whatever reason, I feel like those mixed species arrangements aren’t fooling anyone.

Last up is potted plants and trees. I’ve been itching for an indoor tree for as long as I can remember. Yes, I do have my Charlie Brown faux cedar, but what I’m really craving is a big, six foot beauty.
